To strengthen our team at our Haren (Ems) office, we are looking for a dedicated legal professional who can support our specialist departments with legal matters and work with us to develop pragmatic, legally sound solutions.
Your Future Role
+
Independently handling general legal matters, with a particular focus on data protection and IT law
+
Providing support and advice to our business divisions and subsidiaries both in Germany and abroad
+
Drafting, reviewing and refining contracts, agreements and guidelines
+
Ensuring compliance with (data protection) legal requirements and their implementation
+
Drafting model contracts and guidelines, and adapting them to current legal requirements
+
Providing active and ongoing advice to specialist departments on specific matters
What You Bring to the Team
+
A successfully completed degree in commercial law (LL.B. required, but an LL.M. is desirable) or law (First State Examination, but a full qualification as a lawyer is desirable)
+
Several years’ professional experience, preferably in the legal department of a company or a commercial law firm as a commercial lawyer or fully qualified lawyer (m/f/x), is required; international experience is desirable
+
Interest in a wide range of legal advisory work
+
In-depth knowledge of civil law, company law, contract law and data protection law
+
Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
+
Very good written and spoken German and English
