Launch Your Career: Find the Right Position at ELA Container

Whether you’re applying for an internship, working student activity, thesis, or direct hire, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for on our career portal. Once you’ve found a suitable position, you can simply apply online. You can apply throughout the year for internships, working student activities, and theses.

On Your Application, Get Set, Go!

We’ll need some information from you in advance so we can get to know you better. But don’t worry: you’ll have everything you need in just a few steps. Simply prepare your résumé, reference letters, certificates, and, if applicable, your motivation letter, and upload them to our online career portal, which you can find by clicking on “Apply now” next to the job advert that’s right for you. Tip: If spoken words reflect your personality better than a written application, you can make a lasting impression with a brief video application.

Please Be Patient as We Review Your Application

We will send you a confirmation of receipt within 24 hours of receiving your application documents. We’ll then try to respond to your application as soon as possible. However, it may be a while before you hear back from us.

A Brief Meeting in Digital Form

If you’ve made a good impression on paper, it’s time to get acquainted in person. We’ll invite you to a brief video call with our recruiting specialists, the purpose of which is to get better acquainted and answer any initial questions.

We’ll Get Better Acquainted with You and Your Motivation

If the video call has left a positive impression on both sides, you’ll be invited to another virtual interview or a personal meeting. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the work done at ELA Container and ask us any questions you may have.

A Day in the Team: Your Taster Day with Us

We want you to feel right at home with us, which is why, after the personal interview, we’ll invite you to a taster day. Here you’ll have the opportunity to learn about your daily tasks and get to know your future colleagues over a cup of coffee.

The Home Stretch and Contract Offer

After the interviews, we’ll send you a final response. If it’s a good fit for both sides, we’ll welcome you to the team. The contract documents will then be sent to you by mail shortly thereafter.

Tips for Your Application as a Student

Show Your Personality in Your Application

We’d like for your personality to shine through in your application, so show us your abilities and, more importantly, who you are. Tell us what inspires you and why you’d like to be a part of our team. We’re not looking for perfection, so be authentic and honest.

Compact Self-Portrait

If one of our internships, working student positions, thesis opportunities, or entry roles is the perfect fit for you, then tell us about your strengths and why you should become part of the ELA family. Avoid clichés and endless pages of text. Instead, concentrate on key facts and be as precise as you can, as less is often more.

Carefully Review Your Information

Anyone can make a mistake. Before you submit your application, you should carefully read through it one last time. Pay special attention to the following details:

Make Sure You’re Well Prepared

Acquaint yourself with ELA and the job opening beforehand. Write down any important questions you may have to ensure you don’t forget anything in all the excitement. You can find all the most important information on our careers page.

Plan Your Day Carefully

Make sure you’re well rested and prepared for the day. Check your route online ahead of time and leave early to ensure you arrive on time. We’ll provide you with detailed information about the schedule in advance.

Be Authentic

We know that interviews can be intimidating. But don’t let that frighten you. Try to remain calm and, more importantly, be yourself. We’d like to get to know you as a person and want you to feel comfortable. So be as authentic as you can and ask your questions whenever you have any.

Your Look, Your Choice

There is no strict dress code for interviews at ELA. Wear something that makes you feel comfortable and confident, while still aiming for a neat and well-groomed appearance.

Tips and Tricks for Your Application

Ideally, you should submit your application online using our application form, which you can find by clicking on “Apply now” next to a job opening.
For a complete application, we’ll require your contact information and your résumé. You can also upload your application letter and your academic and practical certificates. While these are optional, we’re always happy to learn more about you as a person and your motivation. You can find the application form by clicking on “Apply now” next to the job opening that interests you.
Our recruiting team is the right contact for your application and any questions you may have about the process. You can find the contact for a specific job in the corresponding job posting and send your application to this person. Get acquainted with our entire recruiting team here.
Once we have your application, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt. We’ll then take a closer look at your application with the department in question and decide how to proceed with the process. We’ll try to get in touch with you as soon as possible. However, the application process tends to take two to three weeks.
If the position is still posted on our career portal, you can apply for it.
Yes, you can apply for multiple positions at the same time.
If you’re still unsure about the direction you’d like to pursue, or if your dream job is currently not posted, please feel free to send in your unsolicited application. Simply visit the job opening overview page.
If you apply online using our portal, it should not take any longer than around ten minutes. In addition to entering your contact information and uploading your documents, you’ll also need to answer a few questions about topics such as your salary expectations or your period of notice. Then you can click on “Submit.”
If you’ve forgotten your password, simply click on the “Forgot password?” button to request a link that will allow you to create a new password.
